Getting started

What is fibyr.ph?
It's one place to run a small internet service — your subscribers, billing, payments, coverage areas, field jobs, inventory, and support — with automatic connect/disconnect on your MikroTik router. It's built for local ISPs.
Is it really free to start?
If your network is small, yes — the free tier covers it, and there's never a setup fee. Your monthly fee is simply the tier that matches your active subscriber count, set automatically — so if you switch with a bigger subscriber base, you start on the matching tier right away. Suspended or disconnected accounts aren't billed. See the pricing page for the tiers.
Do you take a cut of my subscribers' payments?
No. Your subscribers pay you directly — through your own GCash, Maya, or bank account, or your own online gateway. The money never passes through fibyr.ph. We only charge a flat monthly platform fee based on your tier.
Can I move my existing subscribers over?
Yes. You can bulk-import your subscribers — including their current PPPoE usernames — so fibyr.ph manages your existing router accounts instead of creating new ones. No need to re-key thousands of accounts by hand.

Routers & setup

Do I need a MikroTik router to use fibyr.ph?
No. Billing, subscribers, payments, coverage, and everything else work fine without one — fibyr.ph simply holds each subscriber's login until you connect a router. You only need a MikroTik for auto-connect: activating, suspending, or speed-boosting a line and having it pushed to the router for you.
Which routers are supported?
MikroTik (RouterOS), over its built-in API. You can run several routers and assign each coverage box to a specific one, so subscribers are provisioned on the right device automatically.
Is it hard to connect my router?
You create a dedicated API login on the MikroTik once, add it in fibyr.ph, and click Test connection. After that, activations, disconnections, and speed boosts push on their own. The guide walks through it step by step.
What if my router breaks or gets factory-reset?
fibyr.ph is the source of truth for your subscriber accounts, so you don't lose them. Restore the router's base config from a one-time export, hit Resync, and every account is re-pushed in its current state. Moving a coverage box to a different router migrates its accounts for you, too.

Payments & billing

How do my subscribers pay?
They pay by GCash, Maya, or bank transfer and submit their reference number (optionally with a receipt), and you verify it. You can also connect an online gateway (PayMongo or Xendit) so subscribers check out by card or e-wallet.
What is the Receipt Scanner add-on?
An optional add-on. Subscribers upload their receipt and fibyr.ph reads it — when the amount matches the bill, the payment verifies and the bill settles automatically, so you skip the manual checking. Anything that doesn't match is flagged for you. It's priced by your plan tier.
Does it handle invoices and official receipts?
Yes. Bills generate themselves each cycle, with proper VAT invoices and official receipts as PDFs, prorated to the day. New connections mid-cycle are prorated automatically.
What happens when someone doesn't pay?
fibyr.ph handles overdue accounts for you: automatic reminders, late penalties, and an optional portal-only cutoff that keeps them able to pay but not browse — lifted the moment they settle. Every threshold is configurable, and you can grant a grace period per subscriber.

Your team & your data

Can my staff have limited access?
Yes. Assign roles with fine-grained permissions, so a cashier, installer, or checker sees only what they need to — and you decide who can confirm payments, manage routers, edit plans, and so on.
Can subscribers do things themselves?
Yes — in their own portal they can view and pay bills, switch plans, request a speed boost, and open support tickets, without calling you.
How do new customers find me?
Your active coverage boxes appear on the map. People search by their address, see the plans you offer, and apply online — the application lands in your dashboard ready to approve.
